Mike always orders the weirdest things at places that he shouldn’t. This time, he did good! There’s this burger place by our house that we’ve had many times. Nothing fancy, just cheap and convenient. He tried their gyro a few weeks back and had been on a roll ever since. I finally decided to give it a try and was impressed! Yeah, gyros are pretty awesome. They are definitely becoming one of my new favorite meals :-) (at Telly’s Charburgers)

So, we have this little pot full of Halloween chocolates that sits at the entry way to the office for the clients. Is it terrible that I now have a candy stash in my desk? It’s been there for a week, and I haven’t had any yet, but it makes me feel good knowing that it’s there :-P (at Glendale, CA)

Another Sunday date with The Hill. Beautiful evening too! Next time, we’re going to try to jog the entire thing :-) (at Central Park)

And then there was the “real” dessert table. Look! I’m a mega sweet tooth, and I narrowed it down to the dessert on the bottom. Hahaha. Not much self-control, but I could have tried one of each…but didn’t :-P The moral of the story is that I am very happy that we FINALLY tried Claim Jumper’s Brunch. Secondly, I loved it! Thirdly, this kind of feast should be reserved for special occasions or moments of extreme hunger because if we ate like this every Sunday, we’d be HUGE! (at Claim Jumper Restaurants Valencia)

I did make an exception to my one plate rule because I had to try the pancakes and French toast! I guess I could call it dessert though right? (at Claim Jumper Restaurants Valencia)

When I go to a buffet, I usually just pile everything into one plate (making me look very rude and fat-haha). But I don’t care. I also normally don’t go back for seconds (unless there’s dessert) because the first plate is definitely enough…right? Ha. It was all was delicious: Eggs Benedict, Mac & Cheese, Mini Biscuits and Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli Casserole, Roast Beef, Sausage, and Country Potatoes. And that wasn’t all they had to offer. I just couldn’t fit it all into one plate, so I narrowed it down to my favorites :-) (at Claim Jumper Restaurants Valencia)

After driving by the HUGE sign advertising Claim Jumper’s Sunday Brunch Buffet everyday on my way to work and wondering if it was any good, Mike and I finally decided to go for it. We love Claim Jumper’s food, so how could it not be good right? Damn. What a feast! This buffet had it all. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and everything in between. This was their dessert spread. (at Claim Jumper Restaurants Valencia)

A close up of the curry pan. Super good! It’s a fried bun filled with meat, curry, and potatoes. How could you go wrong with that combo? (at Curry House Restaurants Little Tokyo)

Dinner @The Curry House. We came here once a few years ago, and it left a lasting impression. I got the pork katsu plate w/ a potato croquet, and Mike and I shared a curry pan. The salad was even good. I love curry! (at Curry House Restaurants Little Tokyo)
